    3. Hello, I'm a private researcher in Germany and I hope some of you could provide me with information on emigrants from my hometown area who settled in Marysville, Marshall Co., KS. ------- Modified Register for Johann Georg Grauer-11006 First Generation 1. Johann Georg Grauer-11006 was born on 10 Mar 1835 in Kusterdingen. He died on 4 Apr 1904 in Marysville, Marshall Co., KS. Johann was employed as a weaver. He emigrated in 1865 to North America. Johann married (MRIN:4049) Anna Maria Kuttler-10686 daughter of Sigmund Kuttler-7380 and Maria Agnes Walker-1170 (MRIN:699) on 13 Jun 1861 in Kusterdingen. Anna was born on 19 Nov 1837 in Wankheim. She died on 14 Feb 1916 in Marysville, Marshall Co., KS. She emigrated in 1865 from Nordamerika. They had the following children: 2 M i. Sigmund Grauer-11007 was born on 18 Jun 1861 in Kusterdingen. He emigrated in 1865 to North America. 3 M ii. Jakob Grauer-11008 was born on 31 Dec 1864 in Kusterdingen. Jakob emigrated in 1865 to North America. 4 M iii. John Grauer-16799 was born in 1873 in the U.S. He died in 1959. ------- From another source there is an indication that a Gutbrod (Goodbrod) woman had married into the Grauer family. So it can be that other members of the large Grauer fraction have settled in the same area or she was married to Sigmund or Jakob. Sigmund is very often transfered into Simon. I would be interested to get in contact with descendants of these persons and would be prepared to share ancestral information.
