Lloyd at the Marshall County Historical Society has been MOST helpful. I called him and he spent over an hour looking things up for me while I talked to him on the phone! He lives in Marysville and was raised in Frankfort and really knows the area, the old cemeteries and even warned me about where the roads are bad or might flood. He looked up some plat maps for me and then gave me explicit directions and I now know where I am going. He is also sending me an obit from the Frankfort newspaper from 1888! I will be sending a donation and look forward to seeing all these places this weekend thanks to Lloyd!
