Valarie- I have some maps I can send that might help. One shows all the townships with a section grid (36 to a township) and county place names. I have a plat map of the area around Blue Rapids. It is dated 1904. I think it is from a series done of the entire county in 1904. They show property boundaries, number of acres, owners name, transportation, rivers/creeks, schools, etc. Excellent documents. Not sure where I got mine. I think National Archives in D.C. But local archives may have them also. Also, try Marshall Co. Chancery Clerks office. If you like I'll email you what I have.
