Hi Elizabeth....... My grandmother's sister, Minnie, married a Jim Harris. He was the son of John Wm. and Isabelle Hadby, born Aug 26, 1882 in England. One of Jim's daughter-in-law's was buried at Marysville yesterday afternoon. There are other relatives in this area. Jim is buried in St. Gregory's Catholic Cemetery in Marysville. I have no idea when they migrated to America. George and James HARRIS immigrated from England probably between 1884 and 1894. I'm sure of 1894 as their younger brother immigrated in that year when he was 14.He lived with them in Marysville probably until 1909 or 1910 as his first son was born there in 1909. Next child in Hamburg, IA. in 1911. He married Blanche Carrie RINEHART. > > According to JOHN HARRIS obit written in 1959, GEORGE AND JAMES were surviving in Marysville, KS. I haven't found census yet and I know that would help. Perhaps a list of all cemeteries in the area would help too. > > I appreciate any help you may give me and thank you. > > Elizabeth > > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > >
