    3. I've checked the Death Index for Marshall County and don't see a listing for any Hathorn's. This index covers 1889-1911, and may not be a true reflection of deaths in the county during this time frame. You can write to the Marshall County Historical Society at mchs@bluevalley.net and ask them to check their cemetery card file to see if he is buried there.
