BUTTON Dies After a Long Illness: Funeral Held Saturday Afternoon for Beattie Community Resident of Many Years: Milo Austin BUTTON, aged 68 years, died last Wednesday, December 27, 1944, at his home near Beattie, following an illness of several years. The funeral, conducted by the Rev. E. K. Resler, pastor of the Marysville Methodist church, was held Saturday afternoon from the Kinsley Chapel. Burial was in Beattie Union cemetery. Mr. BUTTON was born July 6, 1876, in Grundy county, Ill., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leander BUTTON. At the age of two he was brought to Marshall county by his parents, and with the exception of eight years in Jefferson county, spent the remainder of his life in Beattie and community. He married Mary Irene PIERCE October 20, 1897, at Marysville,. and became father of three children, a son and daughter preceding him in death.
