He & his wife Mary Philbin Welch were both born in Ireland & alsotheir 1st child, Bridget was born in Scottland. They settled on a farm in Marshall co & raised their children. Patrick worked for the railroad & spent time back & forth to Shawnee, Ok. where he died. Their children are as follows: Bridget b. 1855, Mary b. 1860, Thomas b. 1862, John b. 1864, Joseph b. 1866, Katie b. 1868, Mike b 1870, Patieck b. 1873, Anna b. 1870 (twins), William b. 1875 & Lizzie b. 1877.
