I just returned from a research trip to Marshall County. Like all research I answered some questions and created others. Everybody in Marysville was eager to help. Dale Richardson at the cemetery was a jewel!..If you have never had a grave dowsed or witched, Dale is the one to help you. I had heard of this before but never seen it done. Thanks to Dale I now know where my husbands grt grandmother is buried. Barbara at the museum is eager to help all that she can. I emailed her in advance and she had some info waiting for me when I arrived. Barbara knows the history of Marshall county by heart!!! Everybody at the courthouse and the library will help all they can, and if they don't know the answere the will find someone that does. I just can't say enough about the nice people that I met this past week except THANK YOU!!!! Evelyn Grimes

Glad to hear things went so well, and that you received lots of help. I look forward to the time I can get back to Marysville, where my mother was born (grandmother born in Oketo, her mother born in Marysville, too).
