I've "rescued" an old photograph of Lelan Lilas DESHIELDS taken at the Miller's Cottage Studio in Blue Rapids, Kansas. The photograph was probably taken in the 1880's with Lelan appearing to be in her teens or early 20's at the time. Her name is very unusual, however, I believe that I am reading it correctly. I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that this wonderful old treasure can be returned to the care of family.
