She died Thursday, Dec. 15, 1988, at a Marysville hospital. Mrs. GILES was a postal clerk in Beattie for 30 years before she retired in 1972. She was born April 21, 1920, at Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of Frank B. and Therese STADPEL SCHNEIDER. She attended Beattie schools and graduated from Beattie High School in 1940. She was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church, the guild of the church and the auxiliary to American Legion Post No. 244, all at Beattie. She was married to Wayne GILES on may 13, 1946, at Beattie. he died Sept. 25, 1988. Survivors include a sister, Marie FITZGERALD, Beattie. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery at Beattie. A rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at St. Malachy Catholic Church, Beattie. Landreth-Popkess Funeral Home, Axtell, is in charge of arrangements.
I am looking for my great great grandparents -- J M Thompson and his wife Caroline Amanda French Thompson. He is listed in Marysville in the 1900 census as a constable. Their daughter Gertie was married in Marysville in 1898. Also Daniel Branscomb and his wife, Mary Eleanor Parsons Branscomb. He was from Canada, came to USA ca 1865, children Fay O b Illinois 1871, Allie Mae b Iowa ca 1874, in Marshall co Ks by 1885 died there in 1926 and 1902.
