    3. I saw that you are looking for Massey's. How are you related? My grandmother's sister married a Massey (Edna Hidy married Tom Massey, both of whom are deceased), and when I was younger, I remember going to Aunt Edna's and Uncle Tom's in Vermillion. They were like another set of grandparents. Haven't been to Vermillion since they died. The closest I get to Vermillion anymore is Blue Rapids to see grandma (Bessie Hidy Welch). Are we related? I also have a copy of Pioneers of the Bluestem Prairie which has information about the Massey family. >X-Message: #3 >Date: Sat, 24 Jan 2004 16:27:25 -0800 >From: "kathy" <katmar@iowatelecom.net> >To: KSMARSHA-L@rootsweb.com >Message-ID: <000701c3e2da$02ec62e0$d75c4245@pavilion> >Subject: Re: Death Look-up Please >> >Thanks for the look-see! 3. Mary: thank you very much for the information. I did find James Hunt's sister alive she is almost 90 years old. Her name is Minnie Rueger. I wrote her and got some information. Apparently James Hunt was a boarder in the McAtee home. Please keep a look out for me. Thank you again for the information. Terri Lucas

The 1900 Census shows that William, and Mary (with daughters Uphema and Nina) were not living together at the time and whilst Mary Noller was definitely of German parentage, the two daughters are shown as having had an English father i.e. our William from Somerset, England. 3. I am looking for information on my step great grandfather James Hunt m. Mattie Mae Brouhard McAtee Hunt. The only thing I have is from the Marysville cemetery list he was b. in 1914 d. in 1983 and Mattie Mae was b. in 1897 d. 1960. I know that had to have gotten married well after 1926 because my grandma was born in 26, some of her siblings after that. Does James have any children or was he married before, when did he and Mattie get married? Also I found a Edward McAtee in Marysville Cemetery. 3/5/1922-2/12/1936, I remember Grandma telling me of a brother that died in a sledding accident but I do not know if this is him Thank you for any information.
