You can write to the Marshall Co. Historical Society at mchs@bluevalley.net and ask them to check their cemetery database for your Stubbs. If they were buried in Marshall County, they should be in the database. Hope this helps, Alice Allen USGenWeb CC for Marshall Co. You try writing to the Blue Rapids Library....they should either have a copy of the paper...or might know who to write to for an obit. The funeral home ... asking for papers made out at the time of death. The Ks St. Historical Society has newspapers that you can get on interlibrary loan thru your local library. I will go to USGenWeb and check that out! I already had some of the information that you have just given me with these two marriages BUT I didn't have the ages for: 23 Dec. 1869: Hiram Bennett of Marshall Co., age 23: to Mary A. Stout of Marshall Co., age 22 So I thank you for this!! Also, the name is 'Burnett' and not 'Bennett'. This family is in the Stout family that I am researching. As for this marriage: 8 Jan 1872: F.R. Frey of Marshall Co., age 34, to Addie Stout of Marshall Co., age 23 I did not have the middle initial for Mr. Frey so I thank you again!! I really appreciate your help with this!! Thank you! Karla

There are several Stout marriages listed there. The URL is http://skyways.lib.ks.us/genweb/marshall/ Look for the link to Marriages. I have also been transcribing marriages from microfilm from Marshall County. They are early--before 1878 because I haven't come to my great grandparents' marriage yet, and I don't remember if these are already on this web site. Here's what I have transcribed for Stout so far: 23 Dec. 1869: Hiram Bennett of Marshall Co., age 23: to Mary A. Stout of Marshall Co., age 22. 8 Jan 1872: F.R.
