CROW who has been grappling with the grip for some days, met us on the street the other day, and said,"I tell you it is all a mistake." Of course we asked him what was a mistake and he continuted: "This think of thinking that whiskey is the great remedy of the grip. I have had the grip indications in a strong form and I haven't taken a drop. I am getting the best of the disease and I believe it is not true that whiskey is the great remedy for this ailment." We spent some time in argument in favor of John Barley corn but it was of no use, he had us beat on every point. And I.N. CROW is no temperance crank by any means.
