STITES and family of South Prairie spent Sunday with John GRIFFITH. Monday being W.R. FERGUSON's 52nd birthday his friends planned a pleasant surprise for him. A number of friends gathered in and spent a very delightful evening and oysters were served and at a late hour they all returned to their respective homes declaring they had a very enjoyable time. those present were Mr. and Mrs. A.J. MAYS, Mr. and Mrs. BRADLEY, Mr. and Mrs. Martin STITES and children. Misses Hattie ARMSTRONG and Bessie MAYS and Will BRADLEY.
