The La Cygne Weekly Journal Linn County Saturday February 19, 1881 Paola Republican.--Day's saw mill, situated on the Marais des Cygnes, at the Bundy ford, in Stanton township (Miami county) was washed away by the floods of last Monday. It floated down the river about two miles and was totally destroyed.
