Coleen Coleman, Can tell you after checking the mail list archives that Elizabeth's obituary is not there, as I have already done the roll of film for La Cygne in that time frame. Might be in another newspaper though, I haven't checked the KSHS listing of newspapers. Maybe Mound City as it was a large newspaper. Just have to check; as I don't know if Scott township had a newspaper. Can tell you there is MILTON information for 2006 at the Linn County Mail List archives, 2 postings. Can tell you that I have already ordered the next roll of film for Linn County. It isn't here yet and I am still working on the last of this current roll of film to post. The next roll of Linn County material will be the La Cygne Weekly Journal and cover the time frame of interest for your Robert. He may or not be listed in that paper. I will add your Ewing and Milton surnames to the list I carry for this county. I don't live in Topeka and get the microfilm via interlibrary loan with the Kansas State Historical Society in Topeka. Takes 2-3 weeks to get the film. I will keep this information and can check for you later. Sadly, it can't happen overnight. You may wish to consider using your library and KSHS and order some film after checking there website. Your library has to order the microfilm. www.kshs.org. Click on genealogists on the first page and then newspapers on the next page.
