The La Cygne Weekly Journal Linn County Saturday February 19, 1881 Valentine's Day (Monday last), afforded much amusement for the young people, who took great interest in the occasion. They were good patrons of the stores, where valentines were sold, and also of the postoffice, where one cent stamps were in demand.
