The La Cygne Weekly Journal Saturday May 6, 1882 Mr. T.N. MARSHALL is now in Kansas City engaged in selling hogs for the commission firm of J. R. Stoller & Co. We never met a more honest man than Mr. Marshall to deal with, and he may be relied upon to do well in his new location because he will attend strictly to business. He leaves many friends here who regret his departure because he belongs to that class of agreeable and useful gentlemen who are a credit to any community in which they may reside. "Tom" will be missed from La Cygne.
