The LaCygne Weekly Journal Linn County Friday November 4, 1898 In last night's dispatches we noticed that Mrs. Florence GEORGE and a young lady friend, of Washington, D.C., were killed there the night previous by a fast train. They were returning home from a party when the accident occured. Mrs. George is a sister t Captain R.F. THORNE, of LaCygne, and at one time she and her husband Capt. GEORGE, ran the Pleasanton hotel.
