James LINDSEY has two possums one bought of Alvia JOHNSON and one of Sherman KUHN. Hattie WHASLEY is staying with Mrs. NEAL now instead of his sister, Mattie, while Mrs. NEAL is teaching school. Robert SHUMAKER received a telegram Sunday from New Mexico to come up and work for the government. He expects to start soon. We are sorry to say that Mr. HIPON has been in Kansas City to see a doctor twice about a sore on his face and it has been pronounced a cancer.
