At present there seems to be some doubt as to who did the stabbing. Sam married recently; the boys “belled” him; he did not appreciate the fun. On Saturday night he met some of the party at a Lyceum and became engaged in a fight, when some one stabbed him. One Shipman was arrested, but no one appearing against him was released. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I am not related in anyway to this family.
