During the past two weeks Justice A.A. KING who resides east of LaCygne has been looking for a suitable location to move his family where they will be in touch with a first-class school. He has almost decided to locate near Olathe as he already has two sons in that school and wishes his other children to attend it. We are sorry to lose Mr. King and his family from Linn county but trust his change will be for the better. Sunday afternoon J.T. GOSS of this place received through the Adams express company a crate containing one pair of Buf Wyandotte chickens form Jas. FORSYTH, of Owega, New York state. The cock received took second prize at the Madison Square Garden Poouoltry show in the winter of '96-'97 and first prize at the Boston Poultry show the same season. The other member of the pair was a fine pullet. The chickens cost Mr. GOSS $70 and hereafter he will breed the celebrate Buff Wyandottes. A full brother to the cock now owned in LaCygne was recently sold in England at $100. Anyone desiring to see these high priced chickens can call at the residence of Judge GOSS in LaCygne.
