    3. The LaCygne Weekly Journal Linn County Friday May 13, 1898 Jingo. Lillie JONES is home from school now and is taking music lessons from Miss FRITCHE, of Cadmus. B. FLANNIGAN of Montana is in this vicinity looking for a farm to buy. Mrs. DEROME has returned back to Kansas again from Montana. She expects to make her home here in the future. Miss Elsie MOORE and Misses Myrtle GREEN and Leo ALLEN were out riding Tuesday evening and the horse became frightened and began to kick breaking the buggy up some but not hurting the girls any. Fred COX has lost a couple of head of cattle lately of black leg. Fred COX and Lea DAVIDSON went to Parker last Sunday to visit with Rev. G.B. MEHL of that place. One of Mr. DAVIDSON's horses got cut bad one night last week on the barb wire fence.
