Children's names are William 1852-1924; John bn 1855*1936, Allen 1857-?, Isaac 1859-1875, Jefferson 1861-1937, Ellen Riley Smith 1863-1934, Oliver 1864-1934, Mary Ann Riley Smith 1866-1935, and James 1869 or 1871-unknown. Seemed to gravitate to counties named Linn County. First shown in Linn County Iowa between 1849-1970; then in Linn County Missuori between 1880-unknown. Cannot find them after the 1880 census. Some family moved to southern Missouri pre 1900, so wonder if Barny & Elizabeth may have moved onto Linn County Kansas where they may have died. Any help in searching Linn County for Barny & Elizabeth would be gratefully appreciated. These are g-g-grandparents and family information about where they died has become a mystery.
