Mrs. Lane MAYS and sons, Earl and Gene visited near Parker Sunday. School is progressing nicely with Miss Grace McRAE as teacher. A.MAYS and daughter, Bessie are visiting relatives in Pleasanton this week. Mr. and Mrs. E.G. STITES will leave for Oklahoma something in the near future. Mrs. D. J. STITES entertained a few of her friends at an old fashioned quilting party last Thursday. Those present were as follows: Mesdames Ida STITES, Nell STITES, Bettie STITES, Phebie MINER, Josie MINER, Belle AUGUR, Della ROBINSON, Martha FERGUSON, Mollie HODGSON, Rosa GRIFFITH, Dema STITES and Emma STITES.
