The LaCygne Weekly Journal Linn County Friday October 15, 1897 Spring Valley. Mrs. James AUSTIN and grandson, James KINCAID, visited relatives in Leavenworth last week. A son of Andy DALTONS has been very sick with fever for several weeks. Mr. Dalton came to this place from Oregon about three months ago. His famiy has been in very poor health since they have been here. His wife died about a month ago of heart failure. Mr. Dalton is a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel McBATH. Mr. and Mrs. Robert KENNEDY of Linnville, are the proud parents of a daughter, born Oct. 8. And Grandpa Jesse Kennedy is the proudest man in this valley. Miss Lula SILER who has been in Pleasanton for the past month, came home Monday. She is still suffering with throat trouble.
