The LaCygne Weekly Journal Linn County Friday February 3, 1899 Tuesday the remains of W.J.CARTER of Topeka, were brought to LaCygne and after funeral services at the Christian church were interred in the Oak Lawn cemetery. The deceased formerly lived in this place and has many friends and acquaintances who join their sympathies with his sorrowing family.
