The LaCygne Weekly Journal Linn County Friday March 31, 1899 Wednesday evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John SWITS, in the east part of La Cygne, Rev. A. D. WOODS pronounced the words that united Miss Lizzie SWITS and Mr. SHAW for life. Miss SWITS is one of our native LaCygne girls and is a splendid young lady possessed of many qualifications to make a good wife and a pleasant home for Mr. Shaw. We are not acquainted with Mr. Shaw but understand that he is from Pittsburg, Kansas. To the happy young couple the Journal extends its best wishes for success and happiness.
