The La Cygne Weekly Journal Linn County Saturday December 9,1882 Mrs. George W. JONES, wife of our honored County Superintendent, died Monday, of pleurisy of the heart, after a brief but painful illness. She was buried by the Order of Odd Fellows. The deceased was about 30 years of age. She leaves a weeping husband and three small children to walk the lonely pathway of life without her love and help and counsel. The entire community sympathizes with the bereaved ones.
