Linn Co KS Historical Soc tells me they have him in Parker Linn Co KS in an unmarked grave. So I need a paper from 1907 15 Aug.
You could check the newspapers for Beaver Co., OK for an Obit, since that is where William P. died according to some research I did. Also, I think Parker Cem, was also known as Highland Cem. This is a link to William and Lorena's marriage that shows her first name spelled differently than you have it. Another source for documentation is you don't already have it. http://skyways.lib.ks.us/genweb/linn/marriages/groom-g.html?alpha=G&sort=0 Coleen Coleman <wyoeagle@webtv.net> wrote: 15 Aug 1907 Parker Linn Co KS William P Graham M/1 Lorena Ewing M/2 Martha Berg Children: Robert Elmer, Mary E. It is the same family. I have seen this reference to Sydney's family name as Johnson somewhere else. But it didn't list the source of the information. It is cureous, as Jacob's first wife was Sarah Johnson who we believe died about 1871. If Sydney was a relative of Sarah's it seems more coureous that the youngest daughter, Sarah, by the first wife is found in a neighboring county in 1880 at the age of 9 and not living with her father and step-mother. I know young girls were sent off to be servants to live with other families at this time, but age 9 seems young for this. What was your source for this information? I also considered that someone confused the two wives and just assigned Sydney Sarah's last name. If you have source inforamtion, I would be most appreciative. In any event I didn't have all the information from the Rowley family. Thank you again. Nancy Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
