Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Am.2ADI/263.2.1.1 Message Board Post: The Linn Co Cemetery book is not indexed & it's quite a large book making research difficult. The cemeteries are listed by townships so that should help reduce search time since this one died around Parker. Within the townships some cemeteries list burial names alphabetically while others are listed by row & lot #, requiring much more search time. Perhaps you can find a lookup volunteer by going to GenWeb, Linn Co KS.

Then it's through ILL or newspapers, then ILL. Look for Parker & the dates you want -- if Parker didn't have a newspaper at that time, try a neighboring town. Record the microfilm numbers, take them to your local public library to order the film. There's no charge from the Kansas State Historical Society, but your local library may have a fee.
