The bride is a relative of the Wheeler family, of Scott township, Linn county, Kansas, where she visited last fall.

The La Cygne Weekly Journal Linn County Saturday March 5, 1881 Mr. A.D. WAY died Thursday morning at his home in this city, of consumption, at the age of about 37 years. He has been in poor health for several months, and for some time prior to his death it was realized that he could not last very long. Mr. Way was one of the old settlers in this city, and leaves a wife and child to mourn his loss. His funeral will be held this Friday afternoon, under the auspices of the Odd Fellows lodge of La Cygne, to which order he belonged.
