Hi, list! I can't SWEAR that this is true, but I met a man who is the grandfather of the woman who wrote "Sarah, Plain and Tall" and she is descended from some Lincoln County settlers. The story apparently is based on the story of one of those settlers; in other words, this story allegedly happened in Lincoln County! I should try to track down the truth of this, eh? Maybe someone out there knows more about this than I do. I saw a commercial for the third part of the series today and that made me think of this. For what it's worth.. Tracee
