Dear Muriel... and Lincoln County researchers... My thanks for putting this link up on the Lincoln COunty email list. This set of books on the Civil War is a classic. I've worked in libraries which had it and they were worth their weight in gold... researchers used them constantly. Unfortunately the paper volumes were slowly crumblins away as they sat on the shelves... but their presence on the Internet is a wonderful service to historians and genealogists. I encourage all of you interested in the Civil War to take a look at them.
