Well, folks, after a few days of doing lookups out of the Birth Register, I have to caution you that there seem to be a lot of holes. For instance, I just typed in a very common surname for a lookup (BOLTE), and the Boltes I grew up with and went to school with weren't there. There also are a lot of mispellings and typos, which I've noticed in the Death Register as well. I also know that before there was a Lincoln Hospital, people went to Ellsworth to have babies and I'm wondering if that is part of the problem. Anyway, I don't want to be discouraging because there are still 146 pages of birth records, which is better than what we had before -- ZERO -- but it is not as complete as I had hoped.
