    3. Good Morning Colleagues in Genealogy: The extensive discussion about the existence of Aginville prompted me to examine my notebook on Lincoln. I find in there a copy of the "Waconda Roots and Branches" a publication of the North Central Kansas Genealogical Society and Library, Box 251, Cawker City, KS 67430. Anyway a few issues of this quarterly publication in 1984 lists lost towns, post offices, overland stations, mission settlements & trading posts in Linclon, Mitchell, Cloud, Jewell & Republic counties. I have the 3rd issue of Vol. VII for the Fall of 1984. The lists of town in this list begins with Cuba in Republic County. They note that the listing in this issue is continued from the last issue. The listing also continues into the next issue. So in my view, the complete listing should be in Issues 2, 3, and 4 of Volume VII, 1984. Issue 3 also lists lost towns etc in Osborne, Phillips and Smith Counties. They noted that they obtained this listing from Vol. XII of the Kansas Historical Collections. I obtained my copy of this publication from PERSI at the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, IN. Now an order blank for obtaining copies of these documents can be downloaded from the following web site. If you wish you can go to the PERSI Catalog on the Allen County Public Library web site and search for the articles as well. http://www.acpl.lib.in.us/database/graphics/order_form.html Good luck Clarence Suelter who used to haul wheat to the Westfall Grain elevator managed by Erwin Eckelman.
