    3. Hi Muriel and other Lincoln County researchers.... Thanks for mentioning the 1895 census index, Muriel. There is a link to it on the main page of Lincoln County KSGenWeb but unfortunately the main page has gotten so "cluttered" the last few years (the price we pay for one of the most active genealogy county pages I've ever seen!) that it's easily missed. If any of you are interested in locating relatives in 1895 the State HIstorical Society's online index that Muriel mentioned now includes all and partial county listings for about 15 percent (that's the last number I heard) of the population of Kansas in that census.
