We stayed at the Post Rock Motel last Memorial Day Weekend. The propriators are really nice and very freindly and hospitable. They took good care of us. Unfortunately, the buildings are rather old, and there is no wheelchair access, for those who need that. The air conditioners were old and noisy, but the biggest problem was that most of the "guests" were truckers. That isn't a problem in and of itself - the truckers were nice enough, too. But unless you go to bed late and rise very, very early, or are 95% deaf, you don't get the amount of sleep you would like! It does have the advantage of being next door to the world famous Post Rock Restaurant. The food there was OK - some days better than others. It is frequented by locals, so it was interesting to sit and listen to people talk about Lincoln. We even ran into some distant relatives we have never met before, because we overheard some family names in their conversation! One thing I can say for Lincoln is that on both recent visits we ran into a lot of especially nice and helpful people. Only one exception. But most people bent over backward to help us. Wilda
