He was not in the Pennsylvania Cavalry, but the 2nd Kansas Cavalry, Co. F. I found his admission record to the home. He was discharged from the army on June 22, 1865 at Ft. Gibson, I.T He lived in Sedan at the time of his admission to the home, and his contact was given as Mrs. Martha Brown of Rogers, Kansas. He was admitted Jan. 2, 1895 to the home. He was 5'10" and had a light complexion. At the time of his death he was drawing a pension of $20 a month. He did die in Washington state and the cause of death was "cardiac insufficiency due to chronic asthma." Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
