Amelia Caroline ROSE was born in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, April 24, 1870. She was christened in the Lutheran church at the age of four weeks. She with her parents moved to Leavenworth Co., Kan., in the autumn of 1874, where they have lived ever since. She died Feb. 7, 1905, at the age of 34 years, 9 months and 14 days, after an illness of only a few days. She leaves a father, mother, four brothers and four sisters, also a great number of friends to mourn her loss. None knew her but to love her.
