I posted a query July 31 and did not receive any replies. I found a notation that our ancestor was on the 1859 Kansas State census. He is shown on p.59 of KS 1859 State Census. His wife Margaret became ill and died about 1858 in Leavenworth. I never found her death record. Addison was in California when she became ill so he went to Leavenworth, but I think he did not stay long, and then went to Missouri and/or Texas. My question was, does the state census show family members? Can one borrow the microfilm at the library by interlibrary loan just like we borrow census films? Thank you. Zelda. [email protected]
