Young Harvey, with his little brother, were playing on the ice, when a large cake of their treacherous play-ground became detached and floated away from the shore. The boys screamed for aid, but there was no boat to send off after them, a colored man called to the boys to jump off into the river which they did. The colored man immediately sprang into the water to rescue the boys, but he only succeeded in rescuing one of them, Harvey being under the ice. The river was dragged until yesterday afternoon when the body was found, about twenty feet from where it sank under the water. (I have no connection with this family but let me know if you do.) neirbo
