Has anyone came across anything new of potential Orpanages in Leavenworth Co? My great grandfather was supposedly in the Leavenworth Orphan's Assylum abt the yr of 1889 or 1900...however have never found any records of this. At one time I was directed to the Catholic Charities office in KC for info..which the woman there told me there were 2 Orphanages there that they had records for - One for White Children and One for Black. She checked her records...came up with nothing... Any other suggestions of where I can look? Thank you. P. Hamilton
