    3. Hello! I believe that Oren GOODALE listed in the Census in 1920 may be related to my Stephen A. GOODALE. Oren is 73 years and disabled but I don't find him buried in the cemetery listings. I do have an obit from Lyon Co., Ks. in 1926 for an Orian GOODALE but it doesn't give much information. It's possible this is the same person. Stephen lists his father as Orian/Orin so this may be an older brother? Stephen was b. in 1851 and according to age given Oren would have been born abt. 1847. I was wondering if records from Leavenworth Military Home go back to 1920 or if I should write somewhere else. In 1861 Oren would have been only abt. 13 yrs. old so he may not have joined the civil war til its end. I understand that it's now $40 to send off for military pension records; is it possible to find out whether this is my GOODALE family before investing that much money and if so I'd sure appreciate some pointers. Thanks for your time, Marie "My Reality Check bounced."
