Albert was a guard at Leavenworth as a young man. In fact, I think he was underaged at the time and had to have his parent's consent to work there. He only worked there a short time, I believe. Are there any records of guards that worked there? Or does anybody know anything of the Kollenborn family that lived, off and on, in Kansas? I would especially like to have the name of Albert's mother (may have been Huddleston or Huddelson or Hudelson), when Henry Harrison Kollenborn died, and what was reported/known about his death or disappearance (his body was never found, but his car was found by the Missouri River).
