I've printed a copy for my daughter-in-law, Jennifer Woods. She's also working to complete our family history and may have more information. Do you know any Stafford who was a medical doctor, dentist, or veternarian around the Basehor area? He was my Mother's great Uncle. His sister was my Mother's Grandmother, Mary Ann Stafford Davidson. She had married Thomas Talbott Davidson. Her brother (the Dr.) married Thomas Talbott Davidson's sister. Dr. Stafford and his wife had a son. The son was about 3 or 4 when both couples had baby girls around the same time. Thomas and Mary Ann's little one died. The Dr.'s wife died. So Thomas and Mary Ann took little Belle Stafford (their niece) to raise. Then Thomas and Mary Ann had a son, my Grandfather, and later other sons and one daughter. Belle Stafford married Ervin Norwine. They moved to the Chicago, Illinois area. They were happily married for many years and had a large family. My mother knew them and their children, but it was her father and mother (The Davidson's) who kept in touch. Now my mother is 87. She would like to see the Norwine cousins and find out! the answer to what happened to her Great Uncle, Dr. Stafford, and his son Frank.
