Surnames: Taylor, Henderson, Gray Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Fm.2ADE/212 Message Board Post: I am trying to find information about my gggrandfather, Cyrus Taylor. I found him living with his daughter and her husband, Gertrude and John Henderson, on the 1885 state census in Tonganoxie Twp, Leavenworth. At that time, Cyrus was about 68 yrs old. I haven't been able to find a date of death or burial place for him. I do know, from a journal written by one of his sons-in-law, that Cyrus worked as a store clerk for a well know local merchant, R Gray and that he retired from the job in the late 1870's. So I have 2 requests. If anyone has access to the reference book with the cemeteries of Leavenworth Co, could I please request a lookup for Cyrus Taylor? Also, if anyone has any information about R Gray and possibly his businesses, I'd like to learn about that too. Thanks for any help, Colleen Lill Canada
