    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Fm.2ADE/210 Message Board Post: I hope someone can help me. I am looking for a Hermon and Margaret Foster who lived in Leavenworth from approximately 1859 to 1886. I found them in the 1860, 1870, 1880 Federal censuses as well as the 1865 State census. I also found them in the 1886 city directory. After this, they disappear. I looked for their burials in Leavenworth National cemetary but that is all. I could use a couple things: 1. Could someone do a cemetary lookup on these folks? I would assume that they would be buried near Leavenworth since they always lived in the first ward of the town. He was a laborer. 2. Could someone do a lookup in the 1855, 1875 and 1885 state census to see if they are there? 3. What German churches were in the Leavenworth area between 1859-1900? I thought I could look in church records if I could figure out where they may have gone. 4. Is there another death index available for years as early as 1885? 5. I noticed in the 1865 census that Herman and Margaret lived with two other couples: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nupert and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gailor. 6. I would think that since they lived in the area for so long that they may be mentioned in a centennial of Leavenworth. Is there a book that is available? I would appreciate any help.
