Could someone tell me if the Western Branch of the National Military Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers still exists in Leavenworth County, Kansas? In searching for my great-grandfather, John Buchanan, I found one in the 1920 census in this home which fits the age, etc. but need more information to see if he's MY John Buchanan. Are there records someplace that I can get acess to? Is there a cemetery for the people that died while there were there? I would be grateful for any help. THANKS! Lucy
