John Lincoln Pearce and William Pearce were locked up in Leavenworth, not sure if it was the State or Federal for sure,but think it was the State. I am wondering if there is a way to find out what they did to get there and how long they were there. I do know by 1898 John was living in Christian County Missouri, but have been unable to find anything on William after the 1880 census. In 1870 census they were living in Appanoose County Iowa. John was born 1859/1860 and William was about two years older.
